Welcome

The Football Media Association (FMA) is a professional association for women and men working with print, broadcast, online or digital media related to Australian football. It was established in 2008. 

The objectives of the FMA are to:
  • build and maintain the independence, credibility and reputation of football media
  • obtain the highest possible standards of facilities
  • maintain a friendly liaison with international football media, football associations, leagues and clubs, as well as FIFA
  • welcome international football media carrying out their duties in Australia
  • be a medium for all grievances, and
  • promote networking and professional development opportunities.
