Why is it important to join the FMA?
A key component of the growth and development of football in Australia is a robust, independent and quality football media.
FMA actively supports members professionally and socially through our advocacy, networking, professional education (to the extent possible) and - eventually - member services.
What do I get as a member?
In addition to our core activities of advocacy, networking, professional education and member services, FMA members also vote in the two annual prestigious FMA Awards - the FMA International Player of the Year and the FMA Hyundai A-League Player of the Year - and receive a regular e-mail newsletter, Mixed Zone. At members' request, we also publish members' contact details for the purposes of informal networking and potential employment opportunities on our Members' page.

- $50 if you work full time in media and are based in Sydney/Newcastle, Wollongong or Melbourne/Geelong
- $30 if you work full time in media and live anywhere else, either in Australia or internationally
- $20 if you work part time in media or are a journalism student.
