Football is a game of opinions - so we asked you to give us yours.To commemorate 100 years of a national governing body - in effect FFA - FMA invited anyone (members, non-members, fans, players) to nominate their top 25 Ausssie footballers from which we will compile the top 100 players in the first 100 years.

To help you, we compiled a list of a 100+ names for you to choose from, but you can also add some we may not have included.  The names we've compiled is not a list of the top 100 - just a list of 100+ many people know of first hand or have heard a lot about.  We have no doubt some of you will believe there are some important names left off this list but that's why we can all take about football till the cows come home.  The only eligibility criterion is that the player could play for Australia under today's eligibility rules.

What's in it for you?  A chance to determine the 'Top 100 in 100' as well as a special memento to be presented at our 2nd fundraising trivia night in Melbourne on 28 February and two tickets to the Australia v Saudi Arabia World Cup qualifier on 29 February.
